FOSCI Observes National Crime Victims’ Rights Week 2015

National Crime Week 2015 - 2015ncvrw_themeweb_small 250x250To raise public awareness of families impacted by homicide,  FOSCI observed National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) in Jacksonville, Florida. FOSCI’s theme for this event was “Growth and Community Development”.

On April 24, 2015 – 9 AM to 2 PM, FOSCI’s families and friends joined together to recognize National Crime Victims’ Rights Week by  participating in a FOSCI Balloon Release Ceremony to remember loved ones lost to homicide, uniting with the community to enjoy good eatz and  music and more.

NCVRW is the Office for Victims of Crime’s (OVC) annual observance promoting victims’ rights throughout the country. OVC is one of seven components within the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
